This page explains the main rules that apply when you submit a device to Cash4AnyPhone. It is written to be readable, but it does not replace any rights you have under UK consumer law.

Quotes and Offers

  • Instant quotes are based on the device model, storage, network status, and condition selected by you.
  • Your final offer may change if our inspection finds a different model, storage size, lock status, fault, damage, or missing functionality.
  • If we need to revise your offer, we will contact you before making payment. You can accept the new offer or ask us to return the device.

Postage and Packaging

  • Where available, we provide a Royal Mail postage label or QR code so you can send your device to us.
  • You are responsible for packaging your device securely. Please use padding, remove SIM and memory cards, and include your order number in the parcel.
  • Keep your proof of postage until your device has been received and processed.

Device Checks

  • All devices are inspected after arrival to confirm condition, functionality, IMEI or serial status, and activation lock status.
  • Devices must be owned by you, not reported lost or stolen, and free from finance, insurance, or network blocks.
  • Devices should be accessible for inspection and not restricted by passcodes or personal accounts.

Payments

  • Once your device passes inspection and your offer is accepted, payment is normally processed by UK bank transfer.
  • Most payments are sent within 24 hours of successful verification, excluding weekends, bank holidays, and unusual account checks.
  • We may delay payment if we need to verify ownership, identity, device status, or bank details.

Returns

  • If you decline a revised offer, we will arrange to return your device to the address we have on file.
  • If a device is locked, blocked, reported lost or stolen, or ownership cannot be verified, we may hold or return it according to legal and safety requirements.
  • Return times can vary depending on the postal service and any checks required before dispatch.

  • We collect the details needed to process your order, including your name, contact details, address, device details, and payment information where required.
  • Your information is used to manage quotes, postage, inspection, customer support, fraud prevention, and payment.
  • Before sending a device, back up your data and complete a factory reset. We recommend removing all accounts, passwords, SIM cards, and memory cards.
